We had a bit of money to spend so decided to scout a few young riders from around the globe. All were disappointing, but then we received a report which excited us. Our scout put "must sign" in the message, so we looked seriously at the rider. Very impressive for such a young age, and fearing other teams snap him up, we acted instantly.
Therefore, having just landed at LAX airport, we present young Frenchman Kermarec. Manager Knotts quoted "we are delighted he has signed with us, at this stage of his career. We know there was other teams keeping tabs on him. He has a very bright future in the sport, were just not sure as yet to what sort of rider he will develop into. He has the talent to be a superb all rounder, so we may look to use him in the classics in his early career, then go for tours in the future"
Kermarec's statement reads "I am happy such a top team wanted me. I like the look of this team, and with riders of the reputation of Faulk, Bullock, Ostrup riding here I hope to learn a lot. You only have to look at the success Roel's has achieved since being trained here, to know its a good place to be. I cant wait to get started"

He is being trained now... Decided I had the money to make him a hill helper right away, and now going to focus on his climbing. If still not maxxed will train his TQ
Im slowly selling my climbers, and going back to sprinting. Dotson/Fisher will be staying as help Bullock and De Nooy in the hills. Ostrup, or Webber interest you?
Are you trying to build a climbing team or a sprint team? You have some pretty good climbers that could serve as real good team mates. I wouldn't mind buying one of your old lead outs. Preferably one that has a bit of HL to be able to help Brook Wilbur in the hills. :-)
LOL... I've got Ayers to train first anyway. 190+ TT'er. GD TT, and AV FR, TQ. Going to train him as a leadout 1 then see how far he can go. Will prob depend on if he maxxes early or if need money to train him, on what happens with Kermarec
To win the TDF in almost 30 years that is. LOL
He looks real good. Congrats on the great find. I just wish the good on SP was on DH instead. If it were then you could almost start a team around him and then he might be the first Frenchman to win the Tour de France. LOL
Thanks, that's what I also figured. The reason I may decide to sell - typical find a great young talent just after selling my climbing team
Train him as a climber. CL-HL-TQ-FR & TT. I wouldn't even touch the SP because he would make a better climber and tour rider... Good luck.
